Fun With Chalk

I enjoyed working on this until I lost my flash drive, and then it just became frustrating. What I learned from this is to ALWAYS keep track of your flash drive!!! I enjoyed playing around with the background images trying to find something that made the whole page interesting without cluttering it too much.

Fooooooood

I found this assignment to be very educational, this is where I think I learned the most about InDesign. Its nice to see the images in jpg form like this to see the boxes around the text that I didn't realize were there while working in InDesign.

Pretty Trees

When I made this image I wish I had know how to get other colors other than the basic ones that were given to me. Other than the colors, I think this is a pretty okay pamphlet, I just know know where the middle back image went.

Illustrator

Sorry, I couldn't find my final image for Illustrator.

Earth

I was at a loss for what to do when I created this image and probably created it in a hurry. I don't like the hearts in the background, I'm not very good at freehand drawing on a computer, and the image is just dull.

Leave It Be

S.E.E.D. is a group at the high school I attended dedicated to helping the earth. I appreciate what they do for us which is why I choose this image. Now looking at it I almost think it more looks like its trying to represent Canada.

Oculus

I like this image as a close up eye only; you can see the details much better up close. Originally I had wanted to take the eye and expand on the image (I would probably put some kind of reflection in the pupil), however, the image is lost with my flash drive. =(

Sir Skellington

I love this movie which is why I choose it to be the subject of this image. Now looking at it I don't like my placement and angling of the text. The top text is definitely too angled.

Giant Babies

I don't have much to say about this image, it was quiet easy to make. The hardest part about this assignment was finding images that weren't of cute babies.

Sad Trees

This image was difficult to make without making the image look too cliche, which I'm still not sure that I have accomplished that. The message is quite obvious and doesn't require much thinking. I wish I would have made the views think a little bit more about my message.

School Dance

I created this image mostly because I had just watched the movie Grease. I am a fan of the style and thought putting the dance on a record would make the image a little more interesting.
